Boarding Australia is committed to excellence and that extends to providing the best training for boarding staff.
Through Boarding Training Australia, we provide nationally-recognised training at Certificate Four level (Certificate Four in Community Services Work CHC40708).
The objective of staff training is to provide a safe, healthy environment for young students living away from their home and families during the school term. This is reflected in the ongoing programs designed to develop specialised training for residential supervisors andhouse-parents for the unique roles they play in the lives of these students.
Why this qualification?
Certificate IV in Community Services Work (Students Residential Care) - CHC40708 is a qualification from the Community Services Training Package, part of the Australian Qualifications Framework.
It is recognised anywhere in Australia.
This qualification has been contextualised for the boarding industry. It has been specially prepared for boarding supervisors (also known as housemasters, house parents, youth officers or residential student carers). The support material is regularly reviewed to reflect industry changes.
Training can be done 'face to face' (which takes between five and eight days) or by distance.
